The cutting edge requirements for a new multi million pound Training Centre at Winsford were presented to Simtech Ltd.

The brief was to design a fully implemented performance analysis system to accurately score each candidate whilst they performed simulations in each of the four new HD projection ‘Pods’ in the new building.

Systems for Greater Manchester Teaching Hospitals at Wythenshawe are wide and varied. They have currently deployed one of Simtech’s completely portable hand held systems, that can be readily accessed and enables the Team to capture and review In-situ scenarios in any environment without the need for IT, Internet connections or even mains power.

Mark changed his professional direction into medical education in 2003, incorporating his clinical experience and his interest in technologies to establish Human Patient Simulation training, within the North West region of England.

Mark is an international speaker in all aspects of human patient simulation, from simulation centre design, scenario development, performance analysis and technology innovation.

Mark is an expert trainer in Human Factors and a specialist in video debrief and feedback. He has made significant developments into video performance and statistical analysis. Mark has had a book published titled ‘How to Teach Using Simulation in Healthcare’ which he co-authored with simulation experts and medical educator.

Peter has a predominately technical background and has covered all manner of practices, starting from a time served electrician to working closely with Apple for nearly 30 years.

In 2009 he co- established a successful ‘Apple Accredited Service Provider’, a Service Centre that supported the technical requirements from Premier League football clubs to Design Houses from Manchester to London. Peter previously had years of experience working closely with Fire, Police and NHS sectors.

Peter designed and fitted the Technology in the Simulation Centre at Blackpool Victoria completely by himself, even designing the camera and audio systems. He also managed installations in Simulation Centres including Wythenshawe, Wigan, Preston and Manchester.

Peter has the experience to adapt and choose the right product for the job rather going down the ‘closed’ propriety route.
